To proceed with the signed MOU in 15th April 2011 between Viendong College, Vietnam (VDC) and Valdosta State University (VSU), America about the dual-degree program, a delegation of VSU will visit Viendong College, Vietnam from September 3rd till 10th 2011.

The counselor of Embassy Vietnam in the Kingdom of Campuchia and the Vietnamese Cambodia’s Association have paid an official visit to Viendong College in 8th August, 2011 for the study of Vietnamese Cambodia’s students at the Viendong College since 2011.

On July 8th, 2011, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cam, former a Politburo Member of Vietnam Communist party, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of S.R of Vietnam, who is now the Chairman of Learning Promotion Association (LPA) of Vietnam has paid an official visit to Viendong College, Hochiminh city, Vietnam. Delegates associated with Mr. Nguyen Manh Cam are representatives of LPA in Hochiminh city and  Department of Education and Training of Hochiminh city.

After spending several months to prepare curricula and necessary facilities, on Thursday this week, Vien Dong College will host and work with the delegation of Vocational Department affiliated to Ministry of Labor, Invalid and Social Affair . This meeting aims to check the availability of  facilities and faculty required to get the government's licence to open new training areas which are expected to start in the second half of this year. The new training areas are software engineering, network management, accounting for SME, SME management and topographies.

In the middle of May, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Rector of Viendong College (VDC), Hochiminh city, Vietnam, has paid a visit to Valdosta State University, GA, USA (VSU)
